Future Students

Environmental Design at UTAS

UTAS students designing with the environment in mind.

In 2009 the University of Tasmania commenced a course for aspiring interior designers in response to industry demand for graduates with an understanding of the impact environmental issues have on design.

The Bachelor of Environmental Design offers a combined course in the first year of studies, after which students are able to undertake specialisations in furniture design, architecture and interior design.

The course has been featured on indesignlive.com a website featuring the latest design news from Australia and around the world.
