As logistics and shipping are major components of international trade, this course will appeal to students planning careers in organisations associated with global business, both in Australia and overseas.
Units offered in this Associate Degree will allow students to become knowledgeable in a range of appropriate business activities such as logistics, international business management, exporting and importing and marketing. This knowledge is essential for a sound understanding of issues that are faced by such specialised industries. This course is available part-time by distance study mode or full-time on campus.

Special Requirements

Minimum University Entry Requirments.
Year 12 students clearly in with an ATAR score of 50.
AMC will consider applications from people who do not have the above qualification but who seek admission on the basis of experience gained in industry or government.
To be eligible for entry, applicants must have completed a qualification equivalent to Australian Year 12 (for example, GCE A Levels). Students who have completed certificate or diploma level studies will be considered.
Alternate entry is available for applicants with a minimum of 2 years work experience.
International students from a non-English speaking background also need to have an IELTS score of 6.

The Associate Degree in Maritime and Logistics Management forms part of a series of nested programs. Students who successfully complete the J2B Associate Degree may wish to enrol in the J3X Bachelor of Business (Maritime and Logistics Management) and in doing so will receive full recognition for their completed J2B Associate Degree units reducing the number of units required to be completed under the Bachelor Degree.
