A pathway qualification for students wishing to study in the Faculty of Arts. Students successful in the Diploma of University Studies (Arts) will be able to apply for entry to the Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in the Faculty of Arts with credit.
Course Structure:
Semester 1: Offered via the Centre for University Preparations and Pathways Four Foundation Level units
- Learning at University
- Academic Writing
- Research and Information Skills
- Transition Maths - Applied
Semester 2: Offered via the Faculty of Arts Two Foundation Units (compulsory):
- Understanding this Region
- Foundations of Critical Thinking
Plus two Introductory (first year) unit electives from the faculty of Arts
