Study Areas

The Bachelor of Social Work offers you the knowledge and understanding of social functioning, social problems and social services, as well as the skills to provide assistance to people in your community. Social Workers are committed to the principles of human rights, social justice and no-oppression.

During your course, you will undertake two professionally supervised fieldwork placements.

* Part-time study is not availble to international students
^ International students are not eligible to study at the Cradle Coast Campus

Special Requirements

Successful completion of 2 years in a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Social Science or equivalent, including study in Sociology and Psychology subjects.

As a graduate you will hold a nationally accredited professional qualification Australian Association of Social Workers), which is also recognised in the United Kingdom, many parts of Asian and other overseas countries.
