A pathway qualification for students wishing to study in the Faculty of Science, Engineering & Technology. Students who successfully complete the Diploma of University (Science) will be able to apply for entry to the Associate Degree of Science or Bachelor of Science with credit.
Semester 1: Offered via the Centre for University Preparations and Pathways Four Foundation Level units:
- Learning at University
- Experiencing Science
- Research and Information Skills
- Transition Maths - Methods
Semester 2: Offered via the Faculty of Science, Engineering & Technology Two Foundation Level units from:
- Foundation Chemistry
- Foundation Maths
- Foundation Physics
- Foundation Life Science
- Computer Applications
Plus two Introductory Unit (first year) electives from the Faculty of Science, Engineering & Technology
