The BComp-BIS degree has the combined objectives of the Bachelor of Computing and Bachelor of Information Systems degrees. The study of Information Systems units form a useful combination with Computing units. Specifically, the objectives of the combined degree are:
- The course objectives of the current Bachelor of Computing
- The course objectives of the current Bachelor of Information Systems
- To improve employment opportunities for IT graduates
- To more closely integrate the Computing and Information Systems disciplines
