The Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws, offers you a broad foundation in a range of humanities and social sciences, and creative arts areas of study combined with specialisation in law.

Arts areas of study include: Aboriginal Studies, Ancient Civilisations, Ancient Greek, Art Theory, Asian Religions and Comparative Philosophy, Asian Studies, Behavioural Studies, Chinese, Criminology, English, European Studies, French, Gender Studies, Geography and Environmental Studies, German, History, Indonesian, International Relations, Japanese, Journalism Media and Communications, Latin, Music History, Music Skills, Music Technology, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, Public Policy and Sociology.

Please note:
*Part-time study is not avialable to international students
^International students are not eligible to study at the Cradle Coast Campus

Special Requirements

There is a quota on places in the Bachelor of Laws and the assessment of applications will take into consideration previous university studies. Students will need either require:
  • a first year in another faculty, which includes the units LAW121 Introduction to Law and LAW122 Legal Systems (or the academic equivalent) or
  • a bachelor degree
