A pathway qualification for students wishing to study in the Faculty of Education. Students successful in the Diploma of University Studies (Education) will qualify for enrolment into a Bachelor Degree within the Faculty of Education with credit.
Semester 1: Offered via the Centre for University Preparations and Pathways Four Foundation Level units:
- Learning at University
- Academic Writing
- Research and Information Skills
- Transition Maths - Applied
Semester 2: Offered via the Faculty of Education and Arts Four Introductory Level (first year) units:
- Thinking and Writing at University (compulsory)
Plus two from:
- Curriculum and Pedagogy
- Arts Education: Music & Visual Arts
- Foundations & Theories of Literacy
- Foundation & Theories of Numeracy
And one:- Elective (Faculty of Arts)
